SINGAPORE, Sept 16 — Singapore has launched new initiatives, including more than 200 artificial intelligence (AI) courses, to strengthen careers, skills development and AI readiness, the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) said today, reported Xinhua.
In a statement, the agency said it has also rolled out a complimentary six-month subscription to selected premium AI tools, enabling individuals to build skills and gain confidence in using AI effectively.
It has also partnered with the Singapore Institute of Technology to develop the AI Ready Quiz, which allows individuals to assess their AI readiness and identify relevant courses to build their AI capabilities.
Other initiatives include the opening of Connect by SWDA, a one-stop careers and skills service touchpoint bringing together careers and skills support for individuals and employers, and the launch of the OurWorkforce portal, which provides employers with access to workforce programs and training resources. — Bernama-Xinhua
