Fresh elections for the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) executive committee will be held on December 20, Sportstar has learnt.

Kalyan Chaubey is the current AIFF president, having been elected on September 2, 2022 on a four-year term. The elections were initially supposed to be held before the end of his term but with the National Sports Governance Act 2025 coming into effect, the elections were postponed.

Additionally, elections for the respective state football associations will have to be held by November.
