DIG HSNCB, Rajendra Meena/Times of India

Indian authorities have arrested four Nigerians and a Thai national for drug trafficking in separate operations conducted in Haryana State of the Asian country.

The Times of India said in a report on Thursday that they were nabbed during raids by the Gurgaon and Faridabad units of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau in October.

The police recovered 54.76 grammes of MDMA and 8.90 grammes of cocaine from the undisclosed suspects apprehended in the state near New Delhi.

It stated that the arrests were made as part of the bureau’s ongoing drive against drug trafficking in the state, with special surveillance on foreign nationals suspected of involvement in the illegal drug trade.
