‘Gilded Age’ Christmas Album To Feature Carrie Coon, Laura Benanti, Audra McDonald, Adrienne Warren & Other Cast Members And Broadway Stars

The cast of HBO’s drama series The Gilded Age – all with strong Broadway backgrounds – will be featured on Voices Of The Gilded Age: The Christmas Album, a new collection of holiday classics and original songs from Concord Theatricals Recordings.

The album will be release on digital, CD and vinyl Friday, November 6.

Produced by songwriter and producer Desmond Child, the album features two new original songs, both written by Child (“The World Needs Some Christmas” and “It’s Been Real”), alongside holiday favorites all performed by Gilded Age cast members Ben Ahlers, Christine Baranski, Laura Benanti, Denée Benton, Carrie Coon, Jordan Donica, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Donna Murphy, Kelli O’Hara, Taylor Richardson, Morgan Spector, Taylor Trensch and Adrienne Warren.

Concord released the album’s first single today: “The World Needs Some Christmas,” written by Child and performed by Death of a Salesman‘s Ahlers. Listen to that song here.

The album will arrive shortly after the Season 4 premiere of The Gilded Age on Sunday, November 1 on HBO and HBO Max.
