iPhone Duo live UK stock updates: where to pre-order today as Apple sells out

Translate

UPDATE: stock is good across UK retailers, with queue systems in place for O2 and Sky.

The iPhone Duo is bringing a whole new era of design to Apple HQ.

The brand-new foldable boasts a huge set of record-breaking specs, including being the company's thinnest and largest phone to date – unfolded that is.

When creating the device, Apple execs say they were determined to make sure it was smoother and sleeker than other foldables on the market.

Apple's CEO John Ternus told an audience at Apple's California headquarters: "Others have created foldables that just feel like two phones awkwardly stuck together". Apple's model, he claimed "redefine[s] the experience of using a foldable phone".

With research from DemandSage revealing that Apple 247.8 million units worldwide in 2025 and that there are currently 1.56 billion active iPhone users worldwide, the release of the iPhone Duo is set to be a major event.

Given the sell-out rates of previous new iPhone launches combined with the Duo's exciting new design, we're expecting this new model to sell out quickly. That's why we're sweeping the web to keep you updated on where the iPhone Duo is still available to pre-order.

Below, we've given you a full breakdown of the iPhone Duo's fancy new design including colourways, size and feel, as well as details about where you can pre-order it in the UK today.

What are the new features of the iPhone Duo?

As well as bearing a completely new foldable design, the iPhone Duo also has Apple's largest and thinnest phone screen ever. When opened, the device has a 7.6-inch inner display and is 5.2 mm (0.21 inches) thick when unfolded. When closed, it has a 5.4-inch display – which is still 90% of the size of the iPhone 18 Pro screen– and 11.3 mm (0.44 inches) thick.

Both displays are Super Retina XDR and share the same aspect ratio, so content scales proportionally to being open or closed. A premium nano-texture finish reduces glare and reflections, creating a matte surface that minimises crease visibility and feel. Plus, beneath the inner display, a new FaceTime camera stays hidden when not in use to keep the screen uninterrupted.

The displays also feature ProMotion (which keeps your phone scrolling and movement smooth) and Always On (which keeps a dimmed version of your lock screen visible at all time), plus 3000 nits of peak outdoor brightness. Later this year, iPhone Duo will support Apple Pencil with USB-C, allowing users to take notes, sketch, or mark up documents on either display.

Last but not least, Touch ID is integrated into the side button to get you in whether iPhone Duo is open or closed.

What colours is the iPhone Duo available in?

The iPhone Duo is available in two colourways: Star White (light silver) and Night Sky (deep navy).
