Gnarls Barkley’s Upcoming Tour Will Have Cee Lo Green — But Not Danger Mouse

Duo clarifies days after announcing To Whom It Still Concerns Tour that producer won't join singer on the road; "He is my Producer (a great one at that) ! not a performing artist by trade," Green writes

It turns out Gnarls Barkley’s first tour in 18 years this November will instead feature Cee Lo Green taking the duo’s music on the road without Danger Mouse.

Last week, it was revealed that Gnarls Barkley would embark on the To Whom It Still Concerns Tour, advertised as the group’s first trek since 2008. The tour was in support of Gnarls’ third and “final” album Atlanta, which was released earlier this year.

“We’re excited to announce the Gnarls Barkley ‘To Whom It Still Concerns’ 2026 US and UK Tour is coming to a city near you,” the duo wrote on social media, using the word “We.” “We will be performing some of our iconic hits along with songs from our new album ‘Atlanta.’”

Just days after announcing the tour, however, Live Nation clarified in a statement, “Gnarls Barkley’s 2026 To Whom It Still Concerns Tour has always been planned as a CeeLo Green-led live run. Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) was not scheduled to participate in the tour dates. CeeLo Green will perform the duo’s music for fans across North America.”

A rep for Danger Mouse tells Rolling Stone that the musician “was never planning on going on tour, but the duo agreed that Green could use the Gnarls Barkley name for the tour.” (A rep for Green declined to comment.)

The Live Nation page for the Gnarls Barkley tour was quietly edited between when the tour was first announced and press time to include the disclaimer, “Please note: Danger Mouse will not be appearing on the upcoming To Whom It Still Concerns tour.” The poster for the tour was also modified to include “CeeLo Green Performing” above the words “Gnarls Barkley.”

Green himself added on social media, “Danger mouse will not be performing. We want no misunderstandings / disappointments etc. He is my Producer(a great one at that) ! not a performing artist by trade. We are business partners, Whatever he decides for himself is his right…and I support him (vice versa) this is a disclaimer.”

The tour still kicks off November 5 in San Francisco and runs through November 28 in Chicago; the tour in support of Atlanta — Gnarls Barkley’s first album since 2008’s The Odd Couple — will also stop in Atlanta, with that homecoming concert scheduled for November 10.
