Taylor Swift matches Rihanna for the most top 10s in the history of Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart — 30 each — as “Patient Zero” ascends three spots to No. 10 on the Oct. 31-dated list.

The two stars are also tied for the most overall appearances on the 40-position survey: 52 each.

Swift, meanwhile, boasts the most Pop Airplay No. 1s, with 16. Bruno Mars ranks second with 13, followed by Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Rihanna each with 11.

The chart began in October 1992 and measures songs’ weekly plays, as tabulated by Mediabase and provided to Billboard by Luminate, on nearly 150 U.S. mainstream top 40 radio stations.

Here’s a recap of the artists with the most Pop Airplay top 10s:

  • 30, Rihanna
  • 30, Taylor Swift
  • 25, Ariana Grande (who’s also currently in the top 10, with both “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and “Petal”)
  • 22, Justin Bieber
  • 22, Maroon 5
  • 21, Bruno Mars

Swift first reached the Pop Airplay upper tier with her first entry, “Teardrops on My Guitar,” which hit No. 7 in February 2008.

Rihanna’s haul of top 10s on the chart spans from her debut, “Pon de Replay” (No. 2, September 2005), through her featured turn with Bryson Tiller on DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” (No. 4, September 2017).

Upon its debut on the Oct. 10-dated Billboard Hot 100, “Patient Zero” became Swift’s 16th No. 1, the third-best total in the chart’s 68-year history, after only The Beatles’ 20 and Mariah Carey’s 19.

The single, which led in its first three weeks on the Hot 100, is one of four new cuts on the deluxe version, released Sept. 25, of Swift’s 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl.
