Those who own any of the Just Dances titles released between 2023 and 2026 will be able to access their existing library of songs in Decades Of Hits without switching between games.
Just Dance: Decades Of Hits launches October 13 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S with a Switch 2 version releasing November 10. A new adventure mode will see you following Dr. Gigavolt’s daughter Lyra on “a playful journey through six decade-themed worlds, complete with mini-activities, exclusive rewards, and dances to decade-defining songs.”
Decades Of Hits also supports six-player local co-op and you can use your phone as a controller so everyone can play. “The game’s Party Mode changes up the rules every round, creating chaotic fun for everyone. Or, if you prefer a more focused approach to your dancing, the Workout Mode tracks calories burned with each dance,” continues a blog post.
Last month, Ubisoft confirmed it was removing 56 songs from paid subscription service Just Dance+ due to expiring licenses. “Our commitment to you remains the same: to prioritise quality and curate the best possible experience,” Ubisoft said in a statement. “In making these selections, we have carefully reviewed usage metrics and taken great care to avoid removing community favorites, ensuring we maintain a focused and high-quality library for you to enjoy.”
In other news, the complete soundtrack to EA Sports FC 27 has been revealed, with Royal Blood, The Strokes, Blossoms, Yard Act and more all featuring in the latest instalment of the long-running sports game.
