Two teenage boys have been arrested following an alleged fight at Mosely Square in Glenelg, after reports of a disturbance involving a large group of youths.

SA Police said they were called to the beach after 3:50pm on Sunday.

"Two youths who were fighting each other were arrested at the scene and charged with disorderly behaviour," police said in a statement.

Police said a nearby patrol was on scene about four minutes after the initial call was made for police assistance.

"No police officers were injured during the incident," police said.

"Police are actively patrolling all coastal areas in the metropolitan area.

"Police would like to advise the public that there is no tolerance of bad behaviour by members of the public and police will be taking a proactive approach and taking positive action against those who behave in a disorderly manner in public."

Police said dozens of youth witnesses gathered to watch the fight, officers dispersed the crowd and are patrolling the area.

It comes more than two weeks after police said they were investigating several public brawls that occurred at Glenelg and Henley Beach.

Police said they would examine the "level of organisation" of the fights after numerous social media videos emerged online.

Several videos posted of the September brawls showed people in separate fights on the Glenelg shore and at Henley Square, watched on by hundreds of young people.

Other clips showed large groups of youths running across roads in front of traffic.

Earlier this month, police launched Operation Jericho which will focus on addressing anti-social behaviour, criminal activity and road safety issues throughout the warmer months.

The operation will run until April 2027.

The two teenagers will appear in court a later date.

Police are urging anyone who witnesses disorderly behaviour to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
