Boxer alleges two men blocked his car and beat him in Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI — 26 October 2026, A Thai boxer who has competed in ONE Lumpinee has filed a police complaint after alleging that two men blocked his car and assaulted him, leaving him with facial injuries and bleeding, while he was still inside the vehicle.

Anucha Phaisanphana, 27, known in the ring as Ngao Phayak Adson Patong, reported the incident to police at Chiang Mai City Police Station on the evening of 26 October 2026.

He said the alleged assault took place near a U-turn close to Chiang Mai Klaimor Hospital in Mae Hia subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai district.

According to Anucha’s account to police, he was driving near the location when another car overtook him, cut in front of his vehicle and blocked his way. Two men then got out and attacked him in the face while he remained inside his car, leaving him with little opportunity to defend himself.

The alleged attackers fled the scene after the incident.

Anucha said he suspected the confrontation may have stemmed from a dispute over driving, but insisted that he had not known the men previously and had no personal conflict with them.

He subsequently received treatment at Chiang Mai Klaimor Hospital, where the medical bill came to 4,934 baht. He later submitted photographs of his injuries and the medical receipt to police as evidence and requested that the suspects be identified and prosecuted.

Police have recorded the complaint and said the case would proceed through investigation and efforts to locate the alleged attackers. The allegations have not yet been established in court.
