  Welcome to the first day!

  We know, we know! The events had already started. We had basketball going on since September 10th, cricket and football too commenced later on. But the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games were officially kicked off on Saturday evening at the Opening Ceremony. Hence, Sunday is Day 1.

  That clarification out of the day. Here’s a look at who all from India is currently competing.

  We have Suraj Singh Mayanglambam currently in the Men’s Changquan Final in Wushu. He is contesting in a 21-athlete field in the medal event.

  In roughly half an hour, we will have Quimcy Dsouza in action in her bronze medal match in women’s singles. The women’s table tennis team will face Indonesia at 6:30am too while the women’s hockey team will get going at 7:30am.
