Kura Sushi USA Rolls Out The Apothecary Diaries Collaboration
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar announced the start of its collaboration with the popular anime series The Apothecary Diaries on Thursday. The collaboration runs until October 31, and it features two new limited-time menu items along with exclusive Bikkura Pon prizes. The menu items are Maomao's Soy Ginger Wonton Noodles and Jinshi's Fried Tuna Roll with purple panko. The Pikkura Pon prizes include acrylic charms, magnet bookmarks, and sticker rolls featuring characters from the series.
Kura Sushi Rewards members can also receive exclusive collaboration chopsticks with a cloth case with a purchase of US$85 or more, starting on Wednesday.
Dine-in guests can receive The Apothecary Diaries Bikkura Pon prizes at 15-plates, 25-plates, and every 15 plates thereafter ordered.
The Apothecary Diaries anime's first season premiered in October 2023 with the second season premiering in January 2025. A third television anime season will premiere in October 2026 for its first cours (quarter of a year), and its second cours will premiere in April 2027.
Hyūganatsu began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website in October 2011. Japanese publisher Shufunotomo began publishing the novels in print with illustrations by Touko Shino in August 2014. Nekokurage launched an ongoing manga adaptation in Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine in May 2017. Square Enix Manga & Books is releasing both the manga adaptation and the original novel series in English.
