Billy Bush Joins Fox News As Contributor

The podcast and television host will make his debut Tuesday on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime (8 pm ET), with plans to appear across all Fox platforms.

Bush currently hosts Hot Mics with Billy Bush, a digital show that covers sports, politics, entertainment, tech, and pop culture, after five seasons hosting Extra from 2019 to 2025. Previously, Bush served as co-host of NBC’s Today third hour as well as the east coast correspondent for Access Hollywood and host of the nationally syndicated talk and music radio show, The Billy Bush Show.

“I’m excited to join FOX News Media and its loyal audience to share my perspective on the people, ideas and moments shaping today’s culture…. as well as the ones trying to undo it!,” Bush said

The host was also in the headlines after a 2016 Access outtake showed Donald Trump, then a presidential candidate, speaking with Bush about grabbing women inappropriately. The Washington Post broke the story, and Bush lost his job at NBC’s Today.

He is the nephew of former president George H. W. Bush, and the cousin of former president, George W. Bush and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Bush has covered major live entertainment events, including the Golden Globes, Grammys and Academy Awards. He covered the Olympics from 2004 to 2016 on NBC and reported live from Prince William’s wedding to Catherine Middleton for NBC News. He has also appeared in several films and TV shows.
