Strictly Come Dancing star John Nellis announced on Saturday's show his wife is pregnant!

The Northern Irish Youtube star and content creator, made the surprise reveal he is expecting another child with wife Shannon McMahon, before taking to the dance floor with Katya Jones for a Titanic number.

Speaking during his pre-dance video on the BBC hit contest, the 33-year-old who is already dad to Eli, said: "The hardest part of my job, and it genuinely breaks my heart, is the amount of time I spend away from family.

"I miss my wife more than you can imagine, and my son. And our family's growing. We're having another baby in February. I want a big family. I want big Christmases and big parties like I grew up with more than you can imagine.

"I just genuinely had the most blessed childhood ever."

John, paid tribute to his own dad in the clip. "My favourite memory of my dad is more of a feeling, and it's that we were best friends first, and he's my dad second, and that's the truth.

"My mum and dad are the most supportive people. Their moral compass is like so well aligned that it realigns those around them. They're just good people."

New host Johannes Radebe declared he was "moved to tears" after seeing the family bond in the clip.

And John also thanked his parents again after his dance, praising all the watch parties that friends are having to support him.

His below-deck dancing scene from Titanic, leaping about on boxes in Movie Week didn't quite land with viewers and the judges who were divided.

One viewer said: “Oh this might be one on the worst couples choices ever seen I’m afraid… just stomping around out of time.”
