Esai Morales & Kelsey Grammer Among Cast For Sean McNamara Faith-Based Drama ‘His Heart’

EXCLUSIVE: Esai Morales (Mission Impossible), Kelsey Grammer (Frasier), Jayne Wisener (Sweeney Todd), Jonathan Stoddard (Furry Little Christmas), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) and Michael Weston (State of Play) will lead cast in faith-based feature His Heart, which is set to be directed by Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer).

Principal photography is due to begin on October 19 in Oklahoma City with a planned fall 2027 U.S. theatrical release. Miracle Studios and Brookwell McNamara Entertainment are getting behind the release.

The synopsis reads: “Wisener plays the lead role of Ryleigh Thompson, a seasoned journalist whose career has taken her to war zones but her greatest battle is at home. Haunted by the death of a soldier who once loved her and is estranged from her husband Ben (Jonathan Stoddard), she is assigned to cover a miracle in Argentina. What begins as a routine expose on religious superstition transforms into an emotional odyssey forcing Ryleigh to face her fears, her faith and her fractured marriage. As she follows the story, based on true events, she must decide whether to expose the miracle-or embrace it.”

The film was created by Pittsburgh, PA-based co-writers Jen Katzfey, a producer at Hawk Hill Pictures, and writing partner Dana Faletti.

Pic is executive-produced by Esai Morales, Kelsey Grammer, Joe Helow, Early Bird Pictures’ Stephanie Dunn and Alex Katz, Steve Maddox (Twisters), and Alexis Walkenstein (Unplanned).
