Thailand wins silver in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT at Asian Games
NAGOYA, Japan — 24 September 2026, Thailand won the silver medal in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT esports at the 20th Asian Games after losing to China in the final at Aichi Sky Expo on Thursday.
Thailand’s team consisted of Nopparat Pidkwam-lap, Wachirawut Changsoi, Jongrak Kamphaengkaew, Sahawan Phon-ngam and Kevin Lermuan.
Thailand began the day’s competition in the semifinals against Vietnam. In a closely contested match, the Thai team edged Vietnam 3-2 to book its place in the final against China.
However, Thailand was unable to overcome China in the championship match, losing 0-3 to settle for the silver medal.
The result marked Thailand’s first esports medal at the 2026 Asian Games.
China won the gold medal, while Vietnam and Chinese Taipei shared the bronze medals.
