"Abbiamo sofferto all'inizio ma siamo stati bravi a riprendere la partita". Il ct azzurro Roberto Mancini sintetizza così la partita dell'Italia vinta contro la Turchia in Nations League a Bologna. "Abbiamo perso fluidità nel gioco con i tanti cambi, ma era previsto. Ho tolto i difensori perchè erani ammoniti".
    Poi sul proseguo del cammino in Nations League Mancini aggiunge: "Romano può giocare anche mezz'ala, ha bisogno di giocare queste partite per crescere. Noi dobbiamo continuare a giocare, ora siamo secondi e probabilmente dovremo andarci a giocare il secondo posto in Belgio".
