#SHOWBIZ: Actor Nadhir Nasar welcomes criticism to improve his craft

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Nadhir Nasar has shared that he is entirely open to criticism, viewing negative feedback as essential constructive advice that helps him grow as a performer.
The 30-year-old, whose real name is Ahmad Nadhir Ahmad Nasar, acknowledged that he still has a long way to go after just five years in the entertainment industry.
"The way people criticise or discuss my acting is actually constructive feedback. I need those comments to become better at what I do," he said.
Speaking at a recent press conference in Petaling Jaya to introduce the cast of Pemuja Syaitan, Nadhir explained that he accepts the fact that his performances will naturally draw mixed reactions from audiences.
"I'm only 30 years old and have been in the industry for five years, so there's still a lot of knowledge I need to gain," he added.
"That's the beauty of what I do now. Some people like your work, and some people don't."
The actor, whose recent performance in Chelot sparked varied reactions from viewers, regularly checks social media comments to see how his work is being received.
Rather than letting harsh opinions get him down, Nadhir uses them as motivation to refine his skills and deliver stronger performances in future projects.
