Taylor Swift‘s “Patient Zero” has gone back-to-back with a second consecutive week as the U.K.’s No. 1 single on the chart published Friday (Oct. 9).

The song appeared on the Encore deluxe edition of her record-breaking album The Life of a Showgirl alongside “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” Swift premiered the music video for “Patient Zero” on Sept. 27 at the 2026 MTV VMAs, where she also collected the inaugural artist director prize.

“Patient Zero” is Swift’s third U.K. No. 1 of 2026 following “Opalite” and Toy Story 5 track “I Knew It, I Knew You.”

Sienna Spiro’s “Great Expectation” is a non-mover at No. 2; the song has spent two weeks at the summit in recent weeks to give Spiro her first U.K. No. 1 single.

Two songs storm inside the top five for the first time: Jamie Miller’s “Babydoll” is up three places to No. 3, while Ashe’s “Stop the Wedding!” lifts six spots to No. 4. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rounds out the top five.

The week’s highest new entry goes to recent Billboard cover star Noah Kahan, as his track “Draw You Out” debuts at No. 16. The song appears on the forthcoming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping soundtrack. Speaking to Billboard, Kahan said it was “an insane opportunity” and a longtime goal of his.

Drake has three new entries inside the top 40 following the expanded edition of his 2026 album HABIBTI: “Solar Eclipse” (No. 22); “Quebec” (No. 27); and “Cold Shoulder” (No. 36).
