Vertical Aerospace (EVTL) jumped 10.7% pre-market Friday after saying it signed long-term supplier agreements with South Korea-based ANH Structure and Northrop Grumman (NOC) to provide seating and navigation systems for its Valo electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
Under the agreements, ANH Structure will design, develop, certify, and manufacture Valo's bespoke pilot and passenger seating system, while Northrop (NOC) will supply its LCR-110 as the aircraft's inertial reference system, providing essential position, attitude, and heading data to flight-critical systems.
Vertical (EVTL) is developing the Valo aircraft with plans for four- and six-passenger cabin configurations, as well as electric, hybrid-electric, and autonomous variants for commercial and defense markets.
The company said the latest agreements expand its existing supplier network, which includes Honeywell Aerospace, Sonaca, Evolito, Hyundai WIA, Synesqo, Isoclima, and Astronics.
