The Indian men’s Quadrant team ensured at least a bronze medal in Sepak Takraw at the Asian Games 2026 after beating Myanmar in the final group-stage match on Thursday.
The team, comprising Akash Yumnam, Bobby Kumar, Malemnganba Singh Sorokhaibam and Ram Kumar Sharma, fought from a set down to win the contest 10-15, 15-13, 15-7.
India finished top of Group A with three wins in three. Vietnam can seal second place in the standings with a draw against bottom-placed Laos.
