Disha shares a pic with late SSR; marks a decade in films

Disha Patani is celebrating a decade in the film industry with an emotional tribute to her debut film 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story', her character Priyanka and her late co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput.Taking to her Instagram Stories, Disha shared a still from the 2016 biographical sports drama featuring her alongside SSR, who played Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the film.

Reflecting on her journey, Disha wrote, “Grateful to have completed a deade into this journey of exploring myself. Blessed to have lived through these beautiful characters that'll stay with me forever and for everyone who gave me the opportunity to do so.”“‘Priyanka will always be close of my heart. Thank you for all the love and support. Beyond grateful,” she added.Disha made her Bollywood debut with 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story', in which she played Priyanka Jha, Dhoni’s former girlfriend. The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, also starred Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher.The actress’ tribute comes nearly a decade after the film’s release and offers a glimpse into the significance the project continues to hold for her. Her reference to Priyanka also highlights the lasting connection she shares with one of the earliest characters of her career.Over the past decade, Disha has gone on to feature in films including 'Baaghi 2', 'Bharat', 'Malang', 'Radhe', 'Ek Villain Returns' and 'Kalki 2898 AD', among others.

Disha Patani's upcoming and recently lined-up film projects include 'Sangamithra', a grand historical Tamil epic and alongside rumoured sequels like 'Malang 2'.Meanwhile, Sushant is back in the headlines after his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti revealed details about the post-mortem report. In her video, she claimed that there was a stun gun used, that her brother's leg was broken and that “a lot of force” was used on him.
