Hot weather expected in Egypt on Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts hot daytime weather for Wednesday across Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, with moderately hot conditions along the northern coasts and intense heat in southern Upper Egypt. 

Temperatures are expected to be mild during the night and early morning across most regions.

Weather charts indicate intermittent wind activity, particularly in open areas.

Forecasted temperatures vary across the country: highs will reach 39C in several cities in southern Upper Egypt, while Cairo will see a maximum of around 30C.

Nighttime temperatures will drop, with lows reaching up to 21C in Cairo.

There will be a chance for light to occasionally moderate rain across parts of the North Coast governorates, northern Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert, alongside a slight chance of light rain in parts of the southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Western Desert.

Conditions in the Mediterranean Sea will range from moderate to rough, with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters and northwesterly winds.

The Red Sea will range from moderate to rough, with wave heights between two and 2.5 meters and northwesterly winds. And the Gulf of Suez will range from moderate to rough, with wave heights between two and three meters and northwesterly winds.
