WATCH: Ombudsman lawyer takes the witness stand

MANILA, Philippines – On Tuesday, Day 25 of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, the prosecution panel presents lawyer Karen Batu, officer-in-charge of the Records Division of the Office of the Ombudsman.

Batu will testify on Duterte’s net worth from 2007 to 2025 and that the vice president did not declare in her statement of assets, liabilities and net worth for the years 2019 to 2025, among others. /dp
