Trio nabbed for allegedly urinating at JB highway
Police arrested three men for alleged gross indecency after they were seen urinating at the Eastern Dispersal Link Highway in Johor Bahru, Johor, recently.
Johor Bahru Selatan deputy police chief Ng Swie Chait said the suspects, aged 28 to 36, were arrested at a restaurant last night after a video of the incident went viral.
A multipurpose vehicle linked to the incident was also seized, Berita Harian reported.
“One of the suspects has a criminal record, although all three tested negative for drugs,” said Ng, adding that the case is being probed under Section 377D of the Penal Code for gross indecency.
The video showed three men urinating next to a vehicle stopped at the side of the highway with its hazard lights turned on.
