2026 U-17 WWC: Flamingos Touch Down In Casablanca, Ready For Battle
Nigeria’s Flamingos have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian contingent touched down in Casablanca at 10:16 a.m. local time and has since settled into the Ibis Hotel, where the team will continue preparations for the global tournament.
Head coach Akeem Busari on Tuesday unveiled his 21-player squad for the competition as the Flamingos intensify their preparations for another campaign on the world stage.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group B alongside Poland, Puerto Rico and North Korea.
The Flamingos will open their campaign against Poland on October 17 before facing Puerto Rico on October 20. They will round off their group-stage fixtures against North Korea on October 23.
Morocco will host the tournament from October 17 to November 8, with the Flamingos aiming to make a strong impression in the competition.
