SHOOTING

Men’s 10m air pistol qualification/team final: Kamaljeet finished ninth with 580, Aakash Bharadwaj 11th with 579 and Kedarling Uchaganve 35th with 568. None qualified for the individual final, while India finished fourth in the team event with 1727.

Skeet mixed team: Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal qualified for the final after finishing fourth in qualification with 138, before winning bronze with 44 hits. China won gold with 52 and Korea silver with 51.

BOXING

Men’s 70kg boxing, Round of 16: Sumit lost to Iraq’s Ali Qasim Hamdan Al-Sarray by RSC after suffering an injury and being unable to continue.

Women’s 51kg boxing, Round of 16: Sakshi lost 2-3 by split decision to Kazakhstan’s Alua Balkibekova and was eliminated.

Women’s 65kg boxing, Round of 16: Parveen advanced to the quarterfinals after Tajikistan’s Malika Nozimova gave a walkover.

ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS

Women’s vault final: Pranati Nayak finished sixth with a score of 13.100.

HOCKEY

Men’s hockey Pool A: India beat Korea 8-2.

ROWING

Men’s single sculls Final A: Balraj Panwar finished fourth in 6:54.80, missing out on a medal.

Men’s double sculls Final A: Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won bronze in 6:13.25.

Men’s pair Final B: Jaswinder Singh and Nitin Kumar won Final B in 6:46.84 and finished seventh overall.

Women’s four Final A: Gurbani Kaur, Aleena Anto, Tendenthoi Devi Haobijam and Poonam finished sixth in 6:55.32.

Lightweight men’s single sculls Final B: Ajay Tyagi won Final B in 7:01.54 and finished seventh overall.

Lightweight men’s double sculls Final A: Rohit and Ujjwal Kumar Singh finished fourth, missing out on a medal.

Men’s quadruple sculls Final A: Kulwinder Singh, Navdeep Singh, Arvind Singh and Jakar Khan finished fifth in 5:52.17.

SQUASH

Mixed doubles squash, Round of 16: Velavan Senthilkumar and Joshna Chinappa beat Suraj Kumar Chand and Shameena Riaz 2-0 to reach the quarterfinal.

Women’s singles squash, Round of 16: Anahat Singh beat Singapore’s Wai Iynn Au Yeong 3-0 to reach the quarterfinals.

Women’s singles squash, Round of 16: Tanvi Khanna beat Singapore’s Wai Yhann Au Yeong 3-1 to reach the quarterfinals.

Men’s singles squash, Round of 16: Abhay Singh beat Sri Lanka’s Ravindu Laksiri 3-0 to reach the quarterfinals.

Women’s kayak double 500m semifinal: Soniya Devi Phairembam and Parvathy Geetha finished last in their semifinal in 2:01.020 and did not qualify for Final A.

Men’s kayak four 500m final: Naocha Singh Laitonjam, Varinder Singh, Oinam Arun Singh and Harshwardhan Singh Shaktawat finished seventh in 1:28.982.

Men’s canoe double 500m final: Raju Rawat and Gyaneshwor Singh Philem finished ninth in 1:56.121.
