All-rounder Aaron Hardie will miss Australia-A’s upcoming tour of India-A due to a knee injury, reports in Australia said on Monday.
The 27-year-old was named in the squad for the one-day leg of the tour but has since picked up a ‘minor’ injury, which will keep him out of the tour. Pacer Riley Meredith is reported to be named as his replacement.
Hardie has featured in 15 ODIs and 18 T20Is for the national side since making his debut in 2023. He was part of the T20I side that played away at Bangladesh in June.
Australia A will play two four-day matches and three one-day games, all in Puducherry. The first four-day game will begin on September 22, with the second unofficial Test scheduled to start on September 29.
