PH’s Miss World bet walks with broken shoe at ‘Top Model’ event

The show must go on for Asia Rose Simpson, who showed that no wardrobe malfunction can ever prevent her from giving the Philippines a strong fight at the 2026 Miss World pageant in Vietnam.
The 18-year-old American-Filipino youth advocate from Quezon City revealed that she walked with a broken shoe during the first round of the “Top Model” fast-track competition held in Hai Phong on Tuesday evening, Aug. 18.
“I just finished the fashion show and Top Model, and I had a great time walking the runway. But some behind the scenes for you–right before I went onstage, my ankle strap broke on one of my 8-inch heels!” Simpson shared on social media, posting a photo that showed her holding her broken shoe.
