Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi, describing his passing as a painful loss to the Corps, the road safety community and the nation.

Governor Abiodun commiserated with the Corps Marshal and the national leadership of the FRSC in Abuja, the management, officers and men of the Corps across the country, as well as the family, friends and professional associates of the deceased.

The governor noted that the late Ogunjobi’s commitment to road safety administration, public enlightenment and stakeholder engagement reflects the importance of dedicated service to the protection of lives and property.

He observed that the late Sector Commander played an important role in promoting responsible road use, improving compliance with traffic regulations and advancing efforts to make Ogun State’s roads safer for motorists and other road users.

Governor Abiodun described the death as a painful loss, particularly at a time when the collective efforts of road safety officials remain critical to reducing road traffic crashes and protecting the lives of citizens.

While praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul, he urged his family, colleagues and associates to take solace in the worthy service he rendered to the nation.
