Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he did not offer US President Donald Trump anything to secure the American leader's election endorsement, making the claim in an interview with Channel 14's The Patriots on Monday.

The claim was disputed by Channel 13's Moriah Asraf, who reported that Netanyahu promised the Trump administration he would advance reconstruction in certain areas of Gaza despite it not having been demilitarized. However, Asraf said the Prime Minister's Office denied the report.

Trump endorsed Netanyahu in a Truth Social post on Sunday, praising the prime minister's leadership and warning that the US would have to confront Iran without Israel’s support if another candidate were to lead Israel after the October 27 elections.

"Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combating the Islamic Republic of Iran," wrote Trump. "If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so."

The PMO released a video later on Monday of the conversation between Netanyahu and Trump following the US president's endorsement, with the conversation having taken place on Sunday.

Netanyahu told Trump he is "grateful" for the endorsement, calling both the endorsement and Trump himself "incredible."

"All of our civilization is emboldened by your boldness," said Netanyahu. "Our alliance has proved that we can do amazing things together."

Trump: 'You're the man I want by my side, Bibi'

"You're the man I want by my side, Bibi," Trump responded, noting that he "crafted" the endorsement himself as opposed to it having been drafted by an assistant.

Netanyahu highlighted the "historic" Abraham Accords, saying they can be expanded.

"We still have a job to finish," said Netanyahu. "We have peace that we can broaden."

"People in America should know that you have stood up against the greatest danger that faces them: an Iran with nuclear weapons," he added. "We won't let it happen."

Video's IAF background similar to controversial Tel Nof airbase footage

The PMO's video featured an IAF F-15 edited into the background, similar to the one in a video the PMO released on September 29, where Netanyahu warned of a threat from Israel's "enemies" ahead of Election Day while speaking in front of an aircraft hangar at Tel Nof airbase.

The Tel Nof video drew significant controversy over accusations that the prime minister used IDF property as election propaganda.
