LEGO has officially revealed three new Batman sets that are releasing 2027, including a recreation of Jock's Detective Comics #880 Joker cover, a Batmobile from the Batman: Arkham games, and a new, more affordable Batman Returns Batmobile set that pairs it with Penguin's Duck!
The LEGO DC Batman The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover adapts Jock's (Mark Simpson) 2011 iconic comic book cover with the Joker's eyes and facial features extending out from the surface in a unique 3D effect, and you'll notice additional details hidden in a deeper layer of the build. Check out the gallery of product and lifstyle images below:
This 1,849-piece wall-art set is aimed at collectors who love DC decore, costs $169.99, and is available to pre-order on LEGO.com. For me, however, it's all about the Batmobiles...
LEGO's New Batman Announcements Include 2 More Batmobile Sets
The just-announced LEGO DC Arkham Batman Batmobile is a 317-piece version of the vehicle from the Batman: Arkham games. It costs $29.99 and is similar in size and price range as the Batmobile set from Matt Reeves' The Batman.
The other Batmobile set is the LEGO DC Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck which includes both Michael Keaton's Batmobile and Penguin's Duck vehicle from the 1992 movie. This 672-piece set costs $59.99 and includes a pair of must-have minfigures, including The Penguin with a perfect little plastic hair piece.
LEGO had already revealed a much larger Batman Returns Batmobile last month, an impressive collector set which costs $229.99 and includes 2,269 pieces. At $59.99, the new version is far more accessible and comes with the hilarious Penguin's Duck. This smaller version can even drop its sides to reveal the iconic Batmissile just like in the premium LEGO set. I want both.
For the gamers, both Batmobile sets unlock the Golden Red Brick in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, adding a gold theme for characters and vehicles. The Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set also unlocks a gold Batman Returns Batmobile Batcave Prop. Read ScreenRant's 10/10 review of LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight and see why it's a must-play.
All 3 Sets Will Be At New York Comic Con
LEGO will be showcasing all three sets at DC's Booth #4365 at New York Comic Con 2026 later this week, along with a nine-foot brick replica of the Detective Comics #880 cover. We'll be there hosting interviews and covering panels throughout the event, so be sure to keep an eye on ScreenRant's socials and NYCC hub.
Fans who pre-order the Joker Wall Art set at the booth will receive a reprint of Detective Comics #880 with a LEGO-brick-inspired cover. Jock will be there for a signing on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
All three sets go on sale January 1, 2027 at LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and other major retailers.
