What passengers should check before travelling

With train operations around New Delhi Railway Station being altered during the BRICS Summit period, passengers travelling between September 11 and September 13 should verify their train's latest status before leaving for the station.

Indian Railways has advised passengers to use the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or call 139 for updates.

The railway changes cover not just cancellations but also diversions, delayed departures, rescheduling and changes in originating and terminating stations. Passengers should therefore check the status of their specific train number and journey date, rather than relying only on the regular timetable.
