Commanders vs. 49ers, Monday, October 19, 2026 at 8:15 p.m. ET | Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA | ESPN/ABC

As is often the case with NFL games, injury reports dictate a lot about who is available and what should be wagered on. Both teams have an unfortunate list of guys who will be unavailable to play in tonight’s game. Let’s take a look at a couple and see which players have a key impact on the game that you need to be aware of.

Washington Commanders:

• Jacory Croskey-Merritt - OUT - Running Back - It isn’t as though Croskey-Merritt is in the same level as his counterpart, Christian McCaffrey, or even one of the better running backs in the league. However, he is normally reliable, and without an effective running game, this will be a struggle for the Commanders to win. The team will turn to Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler.
• Stefon Diggs and Javon Kinlaw - Questionable - Wide Receiver, Defensive Tackle - Both of these guys could play, but you have to question just how effective they might be in the game. Diggs has a hamstring injury, and that’s the opposite of ideal if you’re a wideout. Kinlaw isn’t having a great year, but he is still reliable and will work to get pressure on Brock Purdy.

San Francisco 49ers:

• Deebo Samuel - OUT, Mike Evans - Questionable - It really doesn’t matter how great your quarterback is if he doesn’t have a rapport with his receiving options. That doesn’t mean Purdy can’t find guys like George Kittle or Brandin Cooks, and Mike Evans might still be out there. However, those are two big, strong, and reliable targets that are banged up at best, or unavailable at worst.
• Dre Greenlaw and Nick Bosa - Suspended and OUT - If any team embodies the "Next Man Up" mentality, it is the San Francisco 49ers. For multiple years they have found ways to be victorious regardless of which players make the field. Now they are going to be without Nick Bosa, and likely Dre Greenlaw, two of the better pieces in their defensive front. Marques Sigle, their strong safety, is also out. That means there could be holes for Jayden Daniels to exploit tonight.

One offer from BetMGM is certainly available to new users tonight, and that is promo code FOXNEWS to earn up to $1,500 if your first wager on tonight’s game loses.
