Celebrations surrounding the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise are continuing in full swing, and with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake just days away from launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, the hype is bigger than ever.

However, if you are a fan of another pretty big Nintendo franchise, you may want to keep an eye on this DLC that combines the magic of The Legend of Zelda with the adorable world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Despite launching back in March 2020 and becoming one of the biggest game launches of all time, helped by its arrival at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received little to no support over the past six years, leading many fans to sadly leave their carefully curated islands behind.

With Nintendo not sharing any possible future content for the most recent Animal Crossing entry, not to mention a potential new installment, it has been left to fans to take any crumbs they are given, and this time, those crumbs are The Legend of Zelda flavored.

To help celebrate 40 years of the Zelda franchise, Nintendo has announced its own The Legend of Zelda-inspired item designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As such, players will now be able to gain access to these designs by heading to the airport and flying to Nintendo's official island.

Courtesy of Nina from the Ninten Island, who has previously released designs inspired by Splatoon Raiders, Zelda fans can now get their hands on carefully curated designs, including a T-shirt featuring the Triforce design against a dark green background, as well as an umbrella adorned with Korok designs.

However, if you do want to take the long and arduous trip to another island, we have you covered with the codes you will need to enter to grab these designs for yourself:

  • Dream Address: DA-6382-1459-4417
  • Creator ID (Nina of Ninten Island): MA-6818-1746-6029
  • Triforce Tee code: MO-BJY7-XKPP-C724
  • Korok Umbrella code: MO-9FRX-HMW1-WXS6
  • f2d1767aa9fa4d9595a801d6abd7bcb1

  • 9c6cb3f90ce3434aaa51c5082737e29a

That being said, the fun does not end there, as Nintendo has also revealed that any players who have previously scanned any amiibo from The Legend of Zelda franchise whilst playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons can now unlock more crossover items. As the official Nintendo post reads:

Using amiibo from the "Legend of Zelda" series in "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" allows you to order furniture and clothing themed after the "Legend of Zelda" series, such as the "Triforce" and the "Zonaiu Inscription Gate," from the Nook Shopping catalog. Nina, a resident of Nintendo's official island, "Ninten Island," seems to have decorated her room with furniture inspired by "The Legend of Zelda" series. Be sure to visit Ninten Island in your dreams!

Last but not least, using these Zelda-inspired amiibos will not only unlock exclusive designs, but it will also cause either Churi or Miner to come to visit your island.

It may not be the major DLC or expansion we have been waiting for for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but if you are a The Legend of Zelda fan, it will be the perfect time to return to your island and get your hands on these adorable freebies.
