Giorgio Furlani is no longer part of Milan’s board, nearly four months after the club announced his dismissal as chief executive.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the latest company registry filing confirms the Rossoneri’s new corporate structure, with Furlani’s name removed. Unlike coach Max Allegri, director Igli Tare and technical director Geoffrey Moncada, all of whom left their roles immediately, Furlani had remained formally within the organisation since May.

Calvelli installed as Milan chief executive to replace Furlani
Paolo Scaroni continues as board president, with Massimo Calvelli now in place as CEO. The remaining directors are Gerry Cardinale, Stefano Cocirio, Randy Levine, Riccardo Stefanelli, Robert Klein, David Castelblanco and Alfredo Craca.
The four men were removed together in a single statement from owners RedBird on May 25, the day after a 2-1 home defeat to Cagliari on the final day cost Milan a place in the Champions League. The club branded the season an unequivocal failure, having needed only a point to secure a top-four finish.
Furlani had been on the board since 2019 before stepping up to chief executive in 2022, effectively representing former owners Elliott Management. Once Cardinale refinanced the vendor loan with Elliott, his role became surplus to requirements.
