On September 17, Madhu Chopra, mother of global icon Priyanka Chopra, shared a warm and emotional birthday message for her son-in-law Nick Jonas. She also expressed her gratitude for having him in the family, calling him someone who feels "truly like a son" to her.

Madhu took to social media to post several photos of Nick, including an old snap of the two together and a more recent family picture.Alongside the photos, Madhu wrote, “Happy Birthday, @nickjonas. So grateful to have you as a part of our family. You’re not just my son-in-law, but truly like a son to me. Your kindness, hard work, and the love you have our family mean so much.” She added, “Wishing you a day filled with happiness, love, and everything you deserve!”.

Priyanka and Nick's wedding took place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The couple first had a Christian wedding on December 1, 2018, followed by a Hindu ceremony the next day, on December 2.Earlier in 2018, the couple announced their engagement after a fast-moving romance. Nick popped the question on Priyanka's 36th birthday, and soon after, the two held their traditional roka ceremony in Mumbai.
