Final Fantasy 10: Yuna Officially Unveiled By Square Enix For June 2027

Final Fantasy 10 is easily one of the most beloved entries in the franchise, with fans continuing to celebrate its story, characters, and world 25 years after its original release. Tidus and Yuna's journey across Spira remains one of Final Fantasy's most emotional adventures, while its direct sequel, Final Fantasy X-2, offered us an opportunity to revisit the same world and see how its characters changed after Sin's defeat.

Both games were eventually given new life through the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, which has expanded to multiple new platforms over the years. Most recently, Square Enix brought the collection to Nintendo Switch 2 in July 2026, complete with graphical enhancements and new quality-of-life features, giving another generation the chance to experience both RPGs in all their glory.

At the heart of both games is Yuna, whose journey and growth across the story has made her one of the franchise's most enduring and beloved characters. And thanks to a new announcement from Square Enix and Good Smile, Final Fantasy 10's Yuna officially returns in June 2027 with a brand-new release.

Yuna is getting a major new collectible release as part of the ongoing collaboration between Square Enix and Good Smile Company, with the Final Fantasy 10 heroine becoming the fourth character in the companies' premium Final Fantasy line. The new Yuna is a painted plastic 1/6.5-scale figure standing approximately 270 mm, or 10.63 inches tall with the display stand.

Good Smile says the design was created to reproduce everything from the details and patterns of Yuna's summoner outfit to her jewelry and signature staff. Sculpting is credited to Kurosawatsu of Acxyz Creativ, with paintwork handled by Nakano Figure Classroom.

Preorders officially opened on September 17, 2026, and Good Smile's international store will accept orders through October 28, 2026, JST, although the company warns that preorders can potentially close early based on demand. The Japanese suggested retail price is ¥29,700, while Good Smile's U.S. storefront currently lists the figure for $174.99.

The current shipping window is June 2027, giving collectors a considerable wait before Yuna arrives. Further, Yuna is not the first entry from Good Smiile, with the line beginning with Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy 15, followed by Lightning from Final Fantasy 13 and Fran from Final Fantasy 12, making Yuna the fourth officially numbered entry.

Importantly for Final Fantasy 10 fans, Tidus is also on the way, as Square Enix displayed a Tidus scale-figure prototype earlier in 2026, with Good Smile later highlighting it again during Good Smile Fest 2026. The figure depicts Tidus holding Brotherhood, providing an obvious companion piece for Yuna. However, unlike Yuna, Tidus does not yet have a confirmed retail price, preorder period, or release date, so Yuna is still the newest fully detailed release from the Final Fantasy collaboration for now.
