Mohun Bagan Super Giant advanced to the semifinal of the Durand Cup 2026 after beating Jamshedpur FC 9-8 in a penalty shootout at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata on Monday.

The quarterfinal finished 1-1 after regulation time before Vishal Kaith saved Jamshedpur’s ninth penalty and Abhi Meitei converted the decisive spot-kick to send the Mariners through.
Who will Mohun Bagan face in the Durand Cup semifinal?
Mohun Bagan will face the winner of the quarterfinal between Shillong Lajong FC and defending champion NorthEast United FC, which will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong later on Monday.
The second semifinal is scheduled for Thursday, (August 20) at 7.00 PM IST at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong.
