Trump takes rare shot at Fox News in lengthy rant after MAGA-friendly network fails to cover his Ohio rally

President Donald Trump blasted Fox News in a rare rebuke of the MAGA-friendly network after it failed to report on his Ohio rally.

Trump, 80, called out Fox on Truth Social Sunday morning over the lack of coverage of his rally in Vandalia, Ohio as he tries to rally his base before the midterms.

'Sad to see that Fox & Friends (Sunday) is not covering our packed house and incredibly enthusiastic (beyond!) Rally that took place in Ohio last night, or the ones in Alabama, Texas, or Oklahoma over the past two days,' wrote the president.

Trump's appearance comes nearly a month before the November 3 midterms.

The rally was aimed at boosting Senator Jon Husted and GOP gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramaswamy as they face off against Democrats Sherrod Brown and Amy Acton.

Trump blamed Fox News for not televising the event and pointed out that other outlets were covering the rally.

'Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!),' said Trump.

'Fox spends more time talking to Communists, Socialists, and Dumocrats, often without rebuttal, and MAGA is not, to put it mildly, happy.'

The President was campaigning for DOGE co-chair Vivek Ramaswamy (left) in his gubernatorial campaign and for Republican Senator Jon Husted's reelection

He took direct aim at Jessica Tarlov, a Fox News panelist and co-host of The Five.

'We don’t like stupid Jessica Tarlov, and all of the others, that are forced down MAGA’S throats,' wrote Trump. 'These Rallies are the hottest things out there, tremendous love in those sold out arenas, and nothing shows up on Fox!'

Trump also took aim at Fox over its firing of Maria Bartiromo.

'Who makes these decisions at FoxNews? Probably the same loser that fired the great Maria Bartiromo because she complained about not being allowed to cover “TRUMP,”' said the president.

Bartiromo was fired in early September after she allegedly divulged that her bosses had directed her not to cover Trump's July speech on election fraud.

'She’ll end up bigger and better than ever - watch! Cover our “happenings,” and not the opposition to Greatness for America, or FoxNews will soon have the ratings of FAKE NEWS CNN or MSNOW (MSDNC),' Trump added.

'Remember, Fox tried this act once before, and almost went out of business (and always right before an election!). That can happen again!'

However, hours later Trump posted graphics and a segment from Fox News highlighting his administration's efforts to crackdown on alleged Obamacare fraud.

The president also took a shot at Jessica Tarlov (pictured) - the most consistent Trump-hating voice on the show and network

Trump also praised former Fox News host Maria Bartiromo (pictured) who, was fired in early September after she allegedly divulged that her bosses had directed her not to cover Trump's July speech on election fraud

The lengthy rant came nearly a month before the November 3 midterms, where republicans are expected to struggle

The president has routinely taken shots at CNN and MSNOW and did so again at his Ohio rally.

He took particular aim at CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins: 'She's such an unhappy person. Young, nice person but she never smiles. She's a very unhappy person.'

Trump is embarking on what he says will be a 32-day blitz ahead of the November 3 elections, with stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Ohio.

Husted, who was appointed to fill the Senate vacancy left by now-Vice President JD Vance, is running to win the seat outright against former three-term Senator Sherrod Brown.

Ohio is among several key races as Republicans and Democrats battle for control of the Senate.
