Official: Gattuso wins his first ever Serie A coach of the month award
Lazio are one of only two sides that remain unbeaten after 10 matches of the Serie A season, and have only dropped points once so far in the league this season with nine victories and one draw on their record so far.
The month of October began with a 3-1 win over Monza following the previous international break. Lazio also demolished Juventus 3-0 at the Allianz Stadium before claiming a 2-1 win over Monza. The month concluded with a statement 6-2 victory away against Sassuolo.
This is the first time that Gattuso has won the Serie A coach award since its inception at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.
He is the second winner of the Serie A coach of the month award in 2026-27, following Frosinone’s Massimiliano Alvini, who won the award for the period spanning August and September.
Gattuso will be presented with his award ahead of Lazio’s next Serie A home game, which will be after the international break against Lecce on November 21.
