A rescue moggy has been named Best in Show at a Manchester cat competition.
Blaze, a black-and-white domestic semi-longhaired rescue, reigned supreme in the household pet and pedigree pet section.
The feline joined dozens of animals competing at the GCCF Manchester Championship Cat Show on Saturday.
Proud owners braved the storms to put their prized pets on display to a panel of judges.
The entrants posed for photographs and were assessed by experts to decide winners in a number of categories.
Just a lucky handful were handed a number of coveted rosettes to the delight of their doting owners.
