The survey was conducted with a sampling error of ±3% for national percentages, ±4% for Balance Luzon, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

“This is 4 points down from neutral -7 in June 2026, but remains above President Marcos’ personal record-low poor -15 in March 2026,” the SWS said.

This, as his net satisfaction in the third quarter was lower compared to 38 percent in the June 2026 survey. Meanwhile, the number of undecided rose from 17 percent, while the gross dissatisfaction fell only 1 percent from the previous 45 percent.

Mindanao, on the other hand, increased by 14 points from ‘bad’ -35.

It added that “Compared to June 2026, President Marcos’ net satisfaction rating fell by 8 points from poor -12 to poor -20 in urban areas. Meanwhile, it stayed neutral in rural areas, up by 3 points from -2 to +1,”

Meanwhile, 47 percent of adult Filipinos said they heard or read about Marcos’ State of the Nation’s Address (Sona), while 53 percent responded that they did not.

They were asked “May narinig o nabasa na po ba kayo tungkol sa State of the Nation Address (SONA) o talumpati ni PANGULONG FERDINAND MARCOS, JR. ukol sa katayuan ng bansa nitong July 27, 2026?”

(“Have you heard or read anything about the State of the Nation Address (SONA) or speech about the country’s current condition by PRESIDENT FERDINAND MARCOS, JR. on July 27, 2026?”

Of the 47 percent, only 13 percent said that Marcos’ promises were believable, while 15 expressed that what he said was all unbelievable.

The other figures were at 13 percent that said “there are more believable than unbelievable”, 37 percent said “believable and unbelievable are equal”, 22 percent said “there are more unbelievable than believable”.

Thus, his net believability was at -11, which was down by 8 points from -3 last year of the same month.
