RACHEL KOLISI TEASES LONDON TOUR

Author and director Rachel Kolisi is taking her Falling Forward event to London and she took to Instagram to tease the type of conversations she would be having. The mom of two, who was previously married to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, expressed that the world financially benefits from women thinking they are not enough. The event takes place on 19 November. Take a look…

“Being a woman shouldn’t mean carrying everything and making it look easy. We’re told to be strong, to be resilient and to keep going. But it’s also okay if that weight feels too heavy sometimes. You don’t have to carry it alone,” she wrote.

“London, you’re in for a treat. These are the kinds of honest conversations you can look forward to at Falling Forward on the 19th of November 🤍,” she continued.

WHAT IS ‘FALLING FORWARD’?

Falling Forward is Rachel’s personal project exploring healing, self-discovery and rebuilding life after difficult experiences. Through a documentary, memoir and screening roadshow, she shared her journey of navigating major life changes, rediscovering her identity and learning to move forward on her own terms.

While her divorce was part of the wider context, the project focuses on more than the end of a marriage. It explores themes of motherhood, loss, personal growth, faith and finding purpose during uncertain times.

The title, Falling Forward, reflects the idea that setbacks do not have to define a person’s future. Instead, difficult experiences can become opportunities for reflection, resilience and transformation. Rachel also wanted to create a supportive space where women can connect through shared experiences and feel less alone in their struggles.
