Edie Falco to Star in Fox Legal Drama ‘Katie Greaves’

Edie Falco is set to lead the legal drama series “Katie Greaves,” which has been ordered to series at Fox.

The show will premiere during the 2027-2028 broadcast season. The logline for states that it centers on the titular Greaves (Falco), who is described as “a whip-smart, fiercely committed attorney who stepped away from the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office following a devastating personal tragedy. Now raising her two young granddaughters with her husband and trying to piece together a life she never expected, Katie is drawn back to the work that once defined her. Each case tests Katie’s instincts, wit, and deeply held belief that everyone deserves a second chance…and someone to fight for them.”

Sharr White created the series and serves as executive producer. Falco executive produces in addition to starring. Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker executive produce via Scott Free. Fox Entertainment Studios produces, with Fox Entertainment Global handling worldwide distribution.

Falco is best known for her role in the iconic HBO series “The Sopranos,” for which she earned three Emmy Awards. She is also known for her starring role in Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie,” which saw her pick up another Emmy in 2010. She is no stranger to leading a broadcast series, however, having starred in the CBS cop drama “Tommy” and the NBC limited series ““Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.” Her other recent TV roles include playing Hilary Clinton in the third season of “American Crime Story” at FX as well as appearing in “Bupkis” at Peacock” and “Mayor of Kingstown” at Paramount+.
