Europa League: Amorim Demands Consistency From AC Milan Ahead Of Ferencváros Clash

AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has urged his squad to find consistency ahead of their Thursday UEFA Europa League encounter with Ferencváros.

Milan’s European campaign has gotten off to a stuttering start with only one win in three matches, mirroring a wildly unpredictable run of form that saw them follow a heavy 3–0 loss against Bournemouth with a resounding 3–1 derby victory over Inter just days later.

Addressing the media before the fixture, Amorim stressed that establishing a steady level of performance is vital if Milan are to fulfill their continental ambitions.

“This is the Europa League. For us, it’s a very important game. More than the result, we need to maintain that consistency,” Amorim said.

“Doesn’t matter rotations, players on the pitch. We need to be a very good team and win, and our goal is to go all the way in this competition.”

The manager acknowledged that his side currently possesses a dangerous volatility depending on their mental approach to each match.

“We can lose any game; we can win any game. This is the characteristic of this team. It depends on how we face the game,” Amorim cautioned.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s Serie A, Serie B, or Europa League.”

Highlighting the narrow margins in modern football, Amorim warned that thorough match preparation by opposition coaches leaves zero margin for complacency.

With detailed video analysis and technical quality prevalent across all European competitions, the Milan boss demanded total focus as they aim to build momentum.
