Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.
Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.
She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.
During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.
Alien: Earth season 2 is preparing its long-awaited comeback.
Created by Noah Hawley, Alien: Earth premiered in August 2025 and became the franchise's first live-action television series. The show takes place in 2120, two years before the events of Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien movie that started it all. Instead of focusing mainly on the dangers of space and Xenomorphs, it also follows the story of synthetic hybrids and the corrupt corporation that made them.
Alien: Earth Season 2 has officially completed filming. According to an Instagram story from one of the show's stars, Babou Ceesay, the hit science fiction series reached another major production milestone after months of silence and a surprising lack of updates for a show of its caliber.
Ceesay, who portrays the Weyland-Yutani cyborg, Morrow's update, comes shortly after another social media post from Ed Moore, who directed Alien: Earth's season 2 finale. The director revealed that production on the series was coming to an end before Ceesay confirmed it with a photo of him in front of a banner that read, "It's a wrap, folks." Check out the post below:
Although FX has not independently announced that Alien Earth has completed filming for season 2, Ceesay's Instagram story does confirm it, as the photo is very straightforward, leaving no room for ambiguity. However, the milestone does not necessarily mean that the new episodes are anywhere near ready to be released, as post-production work could take a while, especially for such a project that is part of a major science fiction franchise that likely requires a lot of visual effects.
Alien: Earth season 1 follows Wendy (Sydney Chandler), a terminally ill child whose consciousness has been transferred into a synthetic body as part of an experimental program developed by the Prodigy Corporation, alongside several other kids in similar conditions. The creation of the hybrids coincides with the arrival of dangerous alien life forms such as Xenomorphs after the USCSS Maginot crashes on Earth. In the series, Earth is controlled by five major corporations, Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. These organizations operate in a world where humans coexist with synthetics, cyborgs, and new hybrids.
