Martha Stewart Reacts to Craig Melvin Spilling Chocolate On Her

Martha Stewart Reveals How She Made $65 Million in Royalties

Martha Stewart didn’t hesitate to call out Craig Melvin after he dropped some chocolate like it’s hot on her outfit.

But it was all in good Halloween fun.

While joining the Today host on the Halloween episode of the NBC morning show Oct. 30 for a cooking segment, the lifestyle mogul’s white pants were the victim of a hilarious on-air mishap after Melvin—who was dressed as her BFF Snoop Dogg at the Winter Olympics—accidentally spilled some chocolate ganache on them.

As Stewart—who recreated her own white Olympics get-up to match Melvin’s costume—was instructing the anchors on how to decorate a Halloween cheesecake, she realized “somebody forgot the chocolate ganache.”

Melvin noticed the chocolate-filled piping bag nearby, telling the TV personality, “It’s right here.”

But as the 47-year-old grabbed the bag from the top and went to pass it to Stewart, ganache began leaking out of it, landing a drizzle fo’ shizzle right on the Martha Stewart Living founder.

“Oh no!” Melvin exclaimed as Stewart screamed, before playfully chiding the broadcast journalist. “Snoop!”

A horrified Melvin immediately apologized, with Carson Daly jokingly chiming in, “Good thing you’re best friends!”

Stewart served up a priceless reaction with a one-liner at the ready.

After all, she looked at the camera and quipped, “Real Snoop would never do that.”

Melvin joined in on the bit, adding, “No, for shizzle!”

Still, the anchor couldn’t help but apologize once again later in the segment.

“I just feel so bad that I destroyed your $3000 pants,” Melvin told Stewart, who replied with a laugh, “Don’t worry about it, they wash.”

But it was later revealed that it wasn’t only the 85-year-old’s white pants that received some chocolate drizzle.

While showing off their costumes, Melvin once again brought up his mishap, “I don’t want to mess up Stewart, again, sorry again.”

The businesswoman continued to laugh it off despite having a chocolate stain, before Melvin noted that Stewart’s shoes were also in the line of fire, with the camera zooming in on the chocolate spot on her white sneakers.

But don’t let the Halloween chaos make you believe that Stewart isn’t ready for Halloween. In fact, kids who trick-or-treat at her farm will be getting more than a piece of chocolate.

As Stewart revealed, “I put out candy and money.”
