Jane Levy Temp-Checks ‘Evil Dead’ Fans About Potential Franchise Return: “Let’s Call Sam Raimi Right Now”

Three movies later, Jane Levy is teasing Evil Dead fans about a potential return for her character Mia Allen after she survived the bloody events of the 2013 reboot.
During a post-screening Q&A for the Fede Álvarez-written/directed horror film, the actress appeared to fuel recent rumors that she will reprise her character for the 2028 prequel Evil Dead Wrath or another installment in the Sam Raimi franchise.
“I have a question. Do you guys think Mia should come back to Evil Dead?” she asked in a video from the Q&A, igniting applause from the audience. “OK, I was just checking. That’s all.”
Levy then joked, “Let’s call Sam’s Skype number right now and see if he wants Mia to come back.”
Raimi’s original trilogy included The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987) and Army of Darkness (1993), with star Bruce Campbell reprising his role as Ash for a cameo in Álvarez’s 2013 reboot, in addition to leading the Starz series spin-off Ash vs Evil Dead (2015-’18).
With Lee Cronin’s Evil Dead Rise (2023) steering the franchise in a new darker direction, the horror continued this summer with Sébastien Vaniček’s Evil Dead Burn.
Next, Francis Galluppi’s Evil Dead Wrath will premiere April 7, 2028. The film is a prequel to the original movie, set in 1972, which producer Robert Tapert described as “another great departure” from the franchise.
