Timothy Olyphant is back for a bigger and better season in Stick season 2.
Owen Wilson leads the Apple TV series as disgraced former pro golfer Pryce Cahill who, with his life crumbling around him, seeks redemption in coaching a young prodigy named Santi. Stick season 2 sees Pryce starting to ponder a potential comeback after helping Santi start to achieve pro stardom, all while his former rival Clark Ross, played by Olyphant, begins playing a more manipulative part in Pryce's life.
Now, as the show launches with its November 4 premiere, the first reviews have begun rolling out for Stick season 2, earning it an early Rotten Tomatoes score. With six reviews calculated at the time of writing, the Apple TV series is back with a rare perfect 100% approval rating from critics, marking an impressive climb from season 1's already strong 81% "Certified Fresh" approval rating on the review aggregate, and setting a new high for the series.
With there currently only being a handful of scores for the aggregate to pull from, there is still the possibility that Stick season 2's Rotten Tomatoes rating could shift in the coming weeks as more reviews roll in. However, looking at the reviews currently calculated, it doesn't seem that the drop would be that significant, as its current average from reviews with scores is 6.3/10. Season 1, meanwhile, came in with a 6.7/10 average across the 62 reviews calculated.
